I am Wryan (pronounced like Ryan – It’s a family name). I am a spirits and cocktail geek. After a few years of sharing my tasting notes with friends, I’ve decided to put pen to paper and make reviewing a higher priority in my spirits exploration. This is a place to archive my thoughts and share them with others outside of my close group.
In the last few years, I went from a primarily bourbon drinker to diving head first into everything from rum to agave. I’ve slowly learned and trained my palate with the help and expertise of others. I especially enjoy blind spirit reviews that give me an opportunity to train my palate even further. The unknown helps me to see if a brand or barrel selection holds up well enough for a purchase.
